Should a client require assistance with taking their medication at the required times, Avec Care is able to provide carers to do this.
This can be provided by a short drop-in service by carers specifically to prompt clients to take their medication. It can also be provided as part of the personal care or meal preparation service.
It is a requirement clients have their medication stored in a Webster pack or similar made up by their pharmacist.
All Avec Care carers are trained in medication prompting.
