Avec Care has been providing services tailored to meet the needs of clients requiring care in their own home and assisting them to continue living independently since 1986.

Avec Care offers a wide range of services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Highly experienced Program Managers coordinate, plan and arrange the required services after a personal consultation. This provides a single point of contact, if additional assistance is required or if there are any concerns.

The required services are provided by a team of professional workers who provide the practical support to clients, either in the home or in the community. The focus is on providing a holistic service meeting client needs.

Avec Care values client privacy and confidentiality. All Avec Care staff are police checked annually and are provided with regular training to ensure they are able to provide clients with the best possible service meeting their needs.

Shopping

Transporting and accompanying clients to do their shopping or doing the shopping for them.

Transport

Providing accompanied transport to appointments and social activities.

Medication Monitoring

Reminding clients when to take their medication. This can be provided as a drop-in service up to three times daily if required.

Meals

Preparing food for clients to cook themselves at a later date or cooking simple meals for them.

Garden Maintenance

Providing regular lawn maintenance including mowing, whipper snipping, pruning and weeding.

Cleaning – Domestic & Commercial

Providing assistance with domestic/commercial cleaning chores, including assistance with cleaning, dishwashing, clothes washing, ironing, meal preparation and help with shopping and bill paying.

Personal Care

Providing assistance with daily self-care tasks in order to help clients maintain appropriate standards of hygiene and grooming.

Case Management

Assessing, planning, coordinating and monitoring services tailored to meet individual needs. This service is particularly useful when clients have complex medical and/or social needs.

Respite

Providing families and carers with a break from their caring responsibilities. Respite care can be provided at home, be centre based or at another agreed location.
